It provided a relaxing environment to unwind after a long day of driving. the hostess was friendly and incredibly helpful. the apartment, located on the second floor, was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. Its proximity to the main street allowed for easy access to the harbor. the fully equipped kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to prepare our own meals. I highly recommend Gamli Skolinn in Husavik. Cons: Not one thing 🙌.

I recently stayed at Gamli Skolinn while visiting Husavik and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt like home as soon as we walked in. The addition of candles added a cozy touch. The location was perfect, with the whale watching center just a short walk away. The top floor apartment offered a great view of the mountain behind. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Additionally, the staff was helpful and quick to respond.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The apartments were perfect for our family of seven. We loved the spacious rooms and fully equipped kitchen. The complimentary coffee and teas were a nice touch. The location was great, with free parking and easy access to everything in town. The family running the property provided excellent service and even gave us a tour of the apartment and information about the town.
Felt very comfortable, no complaints.

We were so impressed with our stay at Gamli Skolinn! The ground floor apartment was spacious and clean, with a lovely living room and a well-equipped kitchen where we could make our own meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and spotless. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the church and many attractions and tours. We highly recommend this place in Husavik! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean, stylishly decorated apartment with candles. Wish we had more time. Whale watching center within walking distance. Nice living room and dining table. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms, plenty of power outlets. 2 Washers and dryers. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy access to supermarket and gas station.

The top suite was incredibly spacious and clean, with two rooms and a nice kitchen. Despite the old building, the staff was very helpful and quick to respond to the sensitive alarm system.
